Breakfast/brunch was amazing! Sour dough toasts with tuna carpaccio and anchovies is especially great! If you are more on the meat side — go for the prosciutto option. Coffee is also great. Service is very polite.
We came to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday and it couldn't have been better! The food was amazing and the view was fantastic. We also loved the music playlist, it was perfect! Need to give a special mention to the waiter working on the 15th of June, he worked so hard to give us and everyone else in the restaurant the best experience possible, and he was so friendly! We would love to come back.
First things first, the view is absolutely stunning. I was in the restaurant during brunch time (10-12 AM), and had the mortadella sandwich. The sandwich was quite big and very delicious. Prices are okay. The service was professional and attentive.
Excellent food in remarkable surroundings at the top of a noble family's former palace. We gazed out over Sibenik's rooftops towards a glorious sunset over the sea, while swifts darted and dived nearby. Ante was the perfect host, talking us patiently through all the dishes, explaining their creation. We were probably lucky to visit just before the tourist season got fully underway as this eatery is rightly celebrated and must be in huge demand. So book early!
Wow such a hidden gem. Take the lift up to the 4th floor and sit on the terrace for amazing views. We had brunch and it was spectacular. Smoked swordfish and hollandaise is stunning. Grandma's eggs so well done. The server was brilliant — friendly and attentive. Best breakfast in Sibenik defo.
Il Palazzo Galbiani completely blew us away. Tucked away at the top of a beautiful historic palace, the terrace offers a stunning, breathtaking view over the old town. Every single element of our late lunch was seamless. The food was absolutely excellent — creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. The background music was a perfect choice, adding the ideal ambiance without overpowering the afternoon. To top it all off, the service was super professional, sharp, and genuinely welcoming. It is easily a 10-star experience in a 5-star world. We will definitely be back!

Looking for a proper brunch in Šibenik? Here we are.
Eggs Benedict with swordfish or pancetta, bruschetta with burrata or with anchovies and tuna, the local “babin doručak”, omelettes, French toast. All on sourdough we bake ourselves, with basil oil we also make in house.
Brunch is served from 09:00 to 13:00, every day except Sunday. You do not need a reservation, just come up. If there are more of you, give us a call so the table is ready.

Whatever we can make ourselves, we do
We make our bread, sauces, desserts and oils in house. That is as close as we come to having a speciality: part of what you eat here does not exist outside this kitchen, so there is nowhere else to order it.
We change the menu twice a year, for winter and for summer, and we listen to what guests ask for. We would rather keep improving dishes that already work than put something new on every month.

About us
Same place, a new chapter
I ran this restaurant before it became mine. When the owner offered it to me in January 2025, I knew what I wanted to change: the menu and the consistency. Not the occasional good dinner, but the same plate every time.
Our cooking is Dalmatian and Mediterranean, the kind that makes sense in Šibenik. We leave traditional flavours alone where they are already good, and bring them together with what serious kitchens are doing now. Dishes are built from the ground up, with no shortcuts, and the preparation takes as long as it needs to take.
I have been in hospitality since I was sixteen, and part of the standard I work to came from restaurant 360 in Dubrovnik. We are family-like and relaxed with guests, but nothing slides in what leaves the kitchen, and we keep changing whatever can be better.
My aim was, and still is, to bring local guests back into the old town. If this is your first time in Šibenik, that is the best recommendation we can give you: you are eating where the people of Šibenik eat. So we are building a kitchen that matters in August and in January alike.

If you are planning a celebration, a reception or a business dinner, we can offer you the terrace, the restaurant itself, or the conference hall in the same building. If the party is at your place, the same kitchen does the catering there.
Get in touch at least four days ahead: the sooner we know, the more room there is to work out the menu together.

Getting here
Where Il Palazzo Galbiani is
We are in the Galbiani Palace, the building that houses the Civitas Sacra museum, just off Medulić Square in the old town of Sibenik. The palace carries the name of a family that arrived from Bergamo in the early 18th century and was granted the title of count in 1791.
The lift goes to the fourth floor, where the indoor dining room is. The terrace is one floor higher, up fifteen steps.
If you are driving, the Poljana underground garage is a few minutes’ walk away.

Questions
The questions guests ask us most often
Do I need to book a table?
You can come without a booking, but we would not recommend it: the terrace has eight tables and fills up quickly. Book online or by phone, for times between 12 and 22. For breakfast in the morning no booking is needed.
Is the terrace covered?
It is. The terrace is roofed, glazed on all sides and air conditioned, so you can sit there in the rain and in the peak of summer alike. The view does not change either way.
Until what time is breakfast served?
Breakfast, which locals call marenda, is served every day from 9 to 13, except on Sundays when we are closed. The restaurant stays open until 23:30.
Can we come with children?
During the day children are very welcome and we always find something for them: nuggets, pasta, and most dishes can be adapted. In the evening we suggest bringing children over seven. The terrace is small and evening guests come for the quiet, so this is a request rather than a rule.
Do you serve lunch?
We do. The restaurant is open from 9 to 23:30, so lunch is very much possible. Many guests assume we only open in the evening.
Can we get a table by the glass?
The terrace is glazed on all sides, so the view is the same from every table. If you would particularly like one right by the glass, mention it when booking and we will do our best.
Do you do takeaway?
We can prepare food to take away if you order in advance. We do not do it during dinner service, when the kitchen is focused on guests in the restaurant.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual. Nothing stricter than that. Come dressed the way you would like to spend the evening.
